An old house keeps you on your toes, and often takes you to your knees.
The bad news: The kitchen sink backed up and 'flooded' the kitchen.
The good news: This did not happen on Thanksgiving.
The bad news: It DID happen Saturday night, so at the very least, we are without a kitchen sink until Monday.
The really, really good news: Hubby took all the dirty dishes into the shower with him this morning!
I married a genius.
You did marry a genius! What a sweetheart.
If something in the kitchen is going to go wrong, it will happen on Thanksgiving. It's practically a tradition in my family!

Aye - yi - yi. A flooding kitchen sink sounds like no fun. You did marry a smart guy. Hope Monday brings a plumber to your door.

I hope you're all fixed up now! Sorry about that snafu! It's always something isn't it? I'm not even a homeowner, but I know the struggle is real!

Yikes! That is never fun. I have vivid memories of washing dishes in the bathtub when I was a kid. Our kitchen was being remodeled and the sink took what seemed to me a long time...

Oh Dear, I hope you get it sorted soon. It happened to me once, years ago, on Christmas day of all days. I can laugh about it now, but then... it was not so funny!
