my camera and I chased bees....
a perfect low-humidity, sunny (if a bit too windy for the camera!), road-trip-kinda day....
we had lavender tea, cut bundles of lavender, bought tomatoes at a roadside stand, hunted antique treasures, lunched at a funky little seafood food truck in a random parking lot...
and my friend drove....
which meant I came home with a finished norwegian fir cardigan!
what a day!
Oh man, I am lavender with envy. I love lavender. I have two small plants in my herb garden. The baby cardi is darling. I've been knitting a few baby sweaters for charity. I'll add this one to the list.

My lavender survived another winter, but not blooming yet. I LOVE that baby cardigan. I wish I had designed it.
