Well, mom followed through with her redecorating scheme (you'll have to scroll down or do whatever you have to do to read about that...I don't know how to link. I'm a dog.)
All those great opportunities to remove and munch on ball bands have----WHOOOSH---- disappeared; I'm not overly happy. Have I told you lately how much I love love LOVE!!! chewing on paper!?!! (and!yarn!bands!are!my!favorite!!) Yum. Tasty.
I was happily napping when I sort of got wind that there was a photo shoot about to happen (my very favorite time of day)....so I dragged (drugged?) myself to the staging chair just in time to make it. My sleepy eyes are hardly opened yet.
I immediately checked.
Drat. No band. She took it off already. (sigh)
I'm rather well schooled in knitting projects and this looks like the beginning of a shawl. Shawls take lots of yarn. Lots of yarn = lots of ball bands. I'll have more opportunities. In the meantime, I'm going to check in all my usual places---when mom's not looking---and see if I can find the missing one.
Love,
Freddy
Freddy, you crack me up!
I hope the ball bands to the pretty green yarn are tasty. :-)

Dear Freddy, will you be my penpal so that I can mail you all of my old ball bands that have accumulated over the years? There are some delicious vintage ones from over twenty years ago that I know only you will appreciate :)

Oh Freddy, best of luck on the hunt for yarn bands. Shawls do take lots of yarn, so I'm sure you'll manage to get your paws on one or two!

I hope your mom gives you decoy ball bands just to satisfy that urge that you've gotten into something to gain attention. Poor Freddy, you've been had!!

Oh Freddy can I ask you secretly is mom giving you enough to eat? There are much tastier items to munch on out there. One of my old dogs loved my shoes and was rather partial to an odd belt or two. Good luck in your search.

I hate to admit this, but his second favorite taste treat after paper and ball bands is his own poop. Yes. I know. Totally gross and TMI. Sorry.

Get I was advised that a little pineapple in the food helps stop that. Haven't tried so don't know if it works.
