Interlude knit: /'in(t)er,lood/ /nit/
a piece of knitting created quickly while more time-consuming works are on the needles; an overnight wonder
That pretty much sums up this quick little linen top. Two squares, knit on #10 (eep!) needles, finished in two days. And it's actually pretty cute. I'll throw it over a t-shirt or sleeveless dress....and go.
Now, back to the regularly scheduled knitting.
Oh, this is a great idea! And I love how you styled it - so simple and casual! It would also make a perfect cover up for a beach!

What a great top! I love super quick knits like that, they're such a great way to get pumped up in the middle of long slogging projects.

I love that. The boxy shape looks so open and comfortable. I also find it's a good style for someone like me who has all their weight in the belly region so I like to look for them as often as possible. :)

Perfect item! Did you go to Lavender farm? I went yesterday and picked in the rain! Love lavender!

I love this type of top to go over a slightly see through white shirt. Perfect for work!

It's great! I love wearing layers.
Looks like something I would knit for myself in a spontaneous moment, like you did!

What a great name for it--interlude knit! Sounds so much more gracious than what feels like frenetic casting on for me. :)
