A pair for hubby's drawer.
A pair for mine.
I think the knitting-blahs are just about over. (I knit vanilla socks during the knitting blahs.) I feel a case of startitis coming on.
Small flower mitts jumped on my needles last night. A lovely little pattern designed by Leigh Miller, and written up by Ann Myhre (in both Norwegian and English). Colorwork still frustrates me at times. I know once I tighten up the dangling ends and block it, this mitt will look terrific, but until then it looks sloppy. Color selection is a bit tricky since I'm just using leftovers.
Who am I kidding? Plenty of choices. I'm just not good at that, either. I already see three or four combinations that might work better than what I'm using now. Decisions. Decisions.
Freddy's choosing next.
I'd say this is the year of the husband's socks! glad you made a pair for yourself as well :) I wonder what freddy will choose??? I say a shawl!

Great socks! I really like the colors you chose for those mitts, although I'm sure Freddy will pick out a great color scheme as well :)

Yay for getting through the knitting blahs! The mitts are pretty and will look even better, as you said. I find the same thing with lace: it isn't really rewarding until you block it!

Glad knitting blahs are over! What usually helps me is to switch between the crafts (knitting/crochet/machine knitting) or between fibers - wool/cotton/linen/silk. Yesterday I revised all my stash and new ideas started to spring up!

I think we all go through the knitting blahs. Glad to hear yours is about over. :) What great projects to help you through it.
I am excited to see what Freddy is going to choose!

I find knitting blahs part of the game.
