Christmas (?????) Cactus 2015
wife, mom, grandma, knitter, photographer, traveler, gardener, antiquer, bookworm, cook--trying to tread lightly on this earth
Mine has buds also. Just hope it holds out and is a "Thanksgiving" cactus.

Christmas seems to get earlier every year. It's no wonder the plants get confused.

Mine's in full bloom right now, too! I think 'Christmas' is a bit of a misnomer.

Ah, I have the answer for you here! Last year I bought a "Christmas" cactus that was in fact labelled as a "seasonal" cactus. Grrr. Anyway, it is flowering massively right now - pics on my blog today if you want to see - so, it seems that it is indeed a "seasonal" cactus. Yours must be the same! It is beautiful in any case! xx

I used to have one years ago and your photos make me miss it. :( Glad yours is blooming and looking so, so pretty, even if it's a bit confused...

Mine is blooming right now also. I once read there are a couple different types of these cactus. Some bloom near the (Christian holidays of) Easter and Christmas, but others bloom in fall and spring. I don't see a difference in the leaves so I tend to just enjoy the lovely flowers. I love that bi-colour in your blooms!

mine is blooming as well!! I think it's because I moved it into the dining room and it's slightly darker...I think. Lovely!!
