Why 10? JayBob (one of my grands) and I spent last night doing the 'snow dance' and praying to the polar vortex gods. We took our job seriously, and guess what?
It worked!
It was a REAL snow (for us)...almost (but not quite) boot-covering snow. Beautiful. I can't ever remember having autumn leaves and Thanksgiving pumpkins dusted with snow before.
What are my chances of getting these to our 'northern' grands before the polar vortex reaches them?
Maybe they didn't do the dance.
You know I am pea green with envy ;)

glad your snow dance worked! Love the photos of winter mixed with autumn. We had a dusting on Saturday but right this very second it is raining.

I just love those mittens. I'd be afraid to do a snow dance down here in GA even though we do have 4 new snowplows for the state.

I'm having major snow envy right now. We didn't have ANY snow in the Netherlands last winter and I'm really hoping we'll have some proper snow this year.

The pumpkins that I didn't put in the house are frozen solid.

So jealous! Enjoy your well earned snow.

Beautiful pictures. I think someone has been doing the dance around here too - although personally i'd prefer they didn't do it to often, it is only mid-november.

this all looks so beautiful. I hear that we may have snow too this year. I hope so...but I hope the heating gets sorted out first!
