That blue? It's Penelope, the Empathetic Monster's hiney. Isn't she the cutest thing ever? (Not my picture. Go to Rebecca Danger's link!) I'm hoping by knitting her with this blue, that she'll transform herself into Maynard, the Empathetic Monster and be ready to be gifted to one of several little boy babies who are due to make an appearance, sooner rather than later.
Book reading has been rather sparse. I'm reading The Invention of Wings (one of the last people I know to crack the spine--I picked up this copy at the used book sale. See? everyone has already read it.) and I'm enjoying it quite a bit. BUT--- I've been listening to Jussi Adler-Olsen's newest release, The Marco Effect on audible.com and can't stop. (I love ALL his Department Q mysteries.) It is most likely the reason that the circle blanket was finished in a record 14 days.
Maynard is in trouble. He needs a couple more days...and the book is winding up.
Drat.
Joining Ginny for yarnalong.
That is a cute little monster, I might knit one just because.
Nope, you aren't the last to read The Invention of Wings, I
haven't...yet.

Oh, sooo sweet! I love little monsters too. And love that blue! I've not read this book either. Maybe we need to start a club of reading of books that get left behind? Happy Day, Steph ((HUGS))

Haven't read that one either! Your monster is going to be so adorable, I love the blue hiney. I've also not heard of the Department Q series, thanks for the introduction :) Wishing you a wonderful day, Steph, happy monster making! xo

Both the knitting project and the novel are intriguing. Anything with a mystery has me interested. I must do some investigating.
