Please take the time to read this lovely story if you haven't already. It's quite a tribute to the power of friendship...even friendship of the virtual kind!!
.
I'm glad I was able to be a little part of this happy ending tale. Connecting with people we would never have met if not for Ravelry or our blogspaces--and developing true, deep friendships and a support network that goes far beyond a post or a knit-idea....this has meant a lot to me.
.
I love when others share their happy connections. Do you have any 'happy connections' to share? Have you had the opportunity to meet any virtual friends in person??? I'd love to hear!

(Melissa even let me be a guest blogger....here! wheeeeeeeeeee!)

GORGEOUS shawl, Steph! It's on my list to make now...And what a wonderful story! Through blogging, Ravelry and when I was a seller on Etsy too, I've been making some FABULOUS friends over the years--true-heart friends I'd likely not have been able to find otherwise. My blog-friends are my deep-life friends. I've been blogging nearly 8 years, so I have a group of friends I've become close to. I got to meet a blog-friend in the UK a few years back--priceless! And now I have a new friend in you, Steph, thanks to blogging and fiber-love--hooray! :o) Happy Weekend ((HUGS))

Boy you knit that one up fast! Lovely as your work always is and I agree that the story is one to be retold and remembered.

The shawl is beautiful! I was also touched by the story of their friendship. I count myself very lucky to have connected with so many great people through blogging and ravelry.
