They really were a joy to knit and any sock knit with that cushy Socks that Rock lightweight are pure cozy comfort. The heel was a little different on this pattern: you used both ends of the skein to do a semi-linen stitch, resulting in a break from the more stripey effect on the rest of the sock. I think they turned out rather cute, and they were very quick to knit (or seemed so, since they were finished during one l-o-n-g car trip).

They are cute and that is an interesting heel.
I need to get a move on with birthday knitting, there are four birthday's in April I am not prepared for yet.

These are great looking socks; someone is going to have a happy birthday.
I have a hard time doing a pattern more than once. I see some folks who are able to do one repeatedly with different yarns for beautiful new creations... I don't like to see a movie more than once, read a book more than once, or knit a pattern more than once (I DID do four of the Chouette pattern... not really by choice! LOL).
