This reminds me of a cd that I bought a few years ago from Smithsonian Folkways - a cd of a man talking about different types of frogs and toads. You hear him speak and then hear the different types of sounds the frogs/toads make. It was old-fashioned, funny and quirky if you like that kind of thing...
Ooooh! He/she is so great! Frogs are the best. I really want to grow tadpoles in a aquarium with Audrey. I loved catching them and watching them grow into frogs. Like magic.
Despite having the song 'A frog he would a wooing go' now playing in my head, I must say I think he might be a toad. He (she?) looks too bumpy for a frog. Fabulous image :D
I love this picture...it reminds me of my oldest son, grownup now, (at the ripe old age of 21). He loved frogs growing up and still loves them....graduated from college in biology, now works in a national park caring for the wild things there...told me he recently had to perform surgery on several frogs in the line of his work. He loves all animals, the more exotic the better. I love frogs because I love my son. Thank you so much for this cool picture.
Oh my! Don't tell, but I'm afraid of frogs!
Have a great weekend Stephanie.
