:: breakfast for dinner-- with help--before the symphony Christmas concert
:: symphony highlights (for the boys): a rendition of the Typewriter, a horn that sounded EXACTLY like Charlie Brown talking on the phone, percussionists that made deer hoof sounds, and being the ones in the upper balcony (thank goodness that's where we were!!!) to clap the loudest and longest.
:: sleep-over for the boys after the concert while the CandyMan's new room got painted (Freddy was over-the-top excited--he slept with the boys)
:: got a hair-cut and found a home for a gansey sweater
:: dinner club Christmas get-together (we scored BIG this year in the dirty Santa exchange--got food! all consumables--and all yummy; this is DINNER CLUB--these folks know how to cook!!!--the ginger cookies are almost gone already)
:: two other holiday get togethers (seems like they all fell this weekend)
:: squeezed in a bit of baby knitting when I discovered that the little sweater I had planned to give my #1 DIL's sister's new baby went to a charity project a couple months ago--(totally forgot I had donated that), but....wait til you see this new little knit (if it turns out.)...too cute!
:: wrapped my mystery yarn ball for tomorrow's knit nite Christmas party
:: elfed quite a bit at the sewing machine...still have a couple more things to finish
:: spent a good deal of time looking at this view....while baking Christmas cookies....
pretending I was looking at 8" of snow in the backyard instead of just a steamed up window

Stephanie, I really, really need you to come over and help me with this sewing thing! I spent, [well I don't really want to tell exactly how many], many hours at the machine on Friday just trying to add a little fabric to some diapers to make burp rags...it wasn't pretty!

you had a really busy fun! weekend. are those pancakes cooking? that's the way it always is for us too, all the party invitations (at this time of year) fall on the same day, or weekend.

Your pancakes look amazing! You must be a very fun grandmother :) If I could send you a bucket or two of snow without it melting, I would do it in a heartbeat!!
