Why is it you can merrily knit along for weeks and weeks on one--maybe two (or three) projects you have started, when BAM....you start to cast on like a mad woman? (I am hoping beyond hope that describes more knitters than just me.)
I can't believe what I've just done.
I was browsing around Ravelry, and spotted Spirogyra by Lynn Vogel . I had some OLD Jo Sharp dk that I thought might work. Let's just cast on and see.
And then, a friend started knitting some gloves for her niece.
They are soooo cute....I'm such a lemming...and that yarn I just got at the swap would be PERFECT...and I was planning to make the grandkids mittens or gloves anyway...and Judy shared the pattern she found on the internet with me (classic gloves)--I couldn't help myself.
So what's my excuse for this?
Vitamin D by Heidi Kirrmaier has been in my queue FOREVER. (Not true, she just updated the pattern last month--it just seems forever, because I've really wanted to start this from the day I found it on Ravelry.) I had the yarn; the rest is history.
Pretty, isn't it? (Almost Ovals by Anne Hanson)
Have you noticed, though, with all these started projects, I have no socks started!!? I LOVE to knit socks!! I better go cast on for some.
